How to get involved
Coaching is a fantastic way to contribute to the community as it’s all about growing ‘people’ as well as growing ‘players’.
If you are new to the world of coaching and would like some support to get started, contact our Pathway Coordinator to get some more information about the clubs in our area.

Support & Resources
Netball New Zealand provides both online and practical coach support and resources.
The online support is located on our new Sport Tutor - Online Learning which is being updated and added to all the time.
Practical coaching workshops are held across the country throughout the year. You can choose to complete a series of workshops and work towards your Foundation or Community Coach Award, or you can just pick and choose any of the workshops from the Foundation or Community Coach area that is of interest to you.

If you want to enter the Performance Coach area you will need to complete the Community Coach Award Level 1 and 2. For more information on this area get in touch with our Pathway Coordinator.
There is a network of Coach Developers around the country who can support coaches in the following areas:
- Facilitation of coaching workshops from the Netball New Zealand Coaching Framework
- Coach support, observation and feedback at training's and games
