NETBALL NEW ZEALAND - COMMUNITY ADVISORY - MONDAY 23 AUGUST 2021

23 Aug

Hi everyone,

We trust you are staying safe in your bubble.

In line with the Government announcement today the following COVID-19 restrictions are in place all of New Zealand will remain at COVID-19 Alert Level 4.

Auckland will remain in Alert Level 4 until 11:59pm Tuesday 31st August

The rest of New Zealand will remain in Alert Level 4 until 11:59pm Friday 27th August

Please note that this advisory is current as of 23 August 2021 and is subject to change due to government guidelines.

Based on the above Cambridge Netball Centre advises that there will be NO PLAY at all in the following grades until further notice:

Wednesday Competition:    Premier Ladies

Saturday Competition:         Premier Reserve

                                                A Grade

                                                A2 Grade

                                                Junior Secondary

                                                futureFerns Year 3-8

Court Bookings:                   No entry to the Cambridge Netball Centre for any purpose is permitted until further notice.

We understand that this is terribly disappointing however for clarity, netball participation is guided first and foremost by the Government COVID-19 Alert Level guidelines and participation in Netball at COVID-19 Alert level 4 is not permitted.

In the meantime we will be planning our Return to Play strategy, however there is uncertainty around what the Alert Levels will look like this time around.  The Delta variant is highly contagious and the Government may impose stricter conditions as we go down through the Levels.

We thank you for your patience.
